Mike came to Walkchalk to serve as the interim Pastor in September 2018 and became the full time Pastor in June 2019.  Prior to that, he spent many years teaching Sunday School and leading Bible studies, as well as speaking in many churches throughout the area.

The foundation of his ministry is the marvelous grace of God and the goal of his sermons is to apply that grace to our everyday lives.  In addition to ministering to the spirit, he is passionate about meeting the physical needs of the community.

His wife Debbie is both the love of his life and his partner in ministry, her caring heart is a blessing to all who know her.  In his spare time, Mike  loves to climb mountains with his family and friends.  He has  recently begun to work with Clean Water Climb - allowing his love of climbing to become a means of raising funds to drill much needed wells in Africa.
